Auction FAQ

What is Auction?

Auction is a fundraising event hosted by CKS where donated items, packages, and experiences are auctioned to guests. This year, the event is split up into two events:

Basket Bonanza - New this year! Bidding will begin online for baskets, experiences, and Sure Thing Parties earlier in the week, then everyone will have a chance to view items in person in the new Bailey Center on November 15 from 11 AM-1 PM. Basket Bonanza replaces the Silent Auction format of previous auctions so you have more time to focus on live items and having a great time the night of Auction!
Auction – The traditional Auction you know and love will be in the pavilion on November 16 from 5:30-11 PM. Our exclusive live Auction items will be presented in person and auctioned off to the highest bidder. Join us in your best western attire ready to enjoy dinner, dessert, drinks, a live band, dancing, and some special surprises!

What can I bid on?

Sure Thing Parties

Activities that are hosted by parents or CKS admin. Examples include: Class Parties, Poker Night, MNO, Beer Crawls. Tickets are limited and people tend to bid on these items first.

Experiences

Showcased both in live and silent Auction, you can find packages that include vacation rentals, sports experiences, dinner with the priests, and much more.

CKS Showcase

Always very popular! Guests can bid on being a principal for the day, front row seating at school events, choose your carnival shift, and more.

Class Projects

Classes create a joint art project to be auctioned off to the highest bidder.

Basketed Items

Baskets are beautifully arranged and include items ranging from beauty, sports, gift certificates, and more.
