Our 8th graders provide a Christmas shopping experience for CKS students each December by hosting the annual Christmas Boutique. 8th grade elves help younger students shop for creative gifts for family members, pets, and friends. The money raised from Christmas Boutique is used to purchase a commemorative gift for the school.

In the Catholic Church, May is the month of Mary, when we honor Jesus' mother. During May, we celebrate the crowning of Mary to signify her honor as Queen of Heaven and Earth. 7th graders process into the church together with flowers and place a crown of flowers on Mary's head to honor Mary, our Heavenly Mother.

Each fall our Kindergarteners are paired with 8th grade students as part of our formal buddy program. These buddies sit together at weekly school mass, participate in learning and social activities, and form a special bond that lasts for many years to come.

A special rite of passage for our graduates - on their last day, 8th graders walk through campus as CKS students one last time while our school community cheers them on.

CKS moms and dads celebrate the Eucharist with their children during special school masses throughout the year.

CKS art teacher, Mrs. Wilson, began a Christmas tradition years ago at CKS.  Students make a handmade clay nativity set as a special keepsake, starting in Kindergarten with baby Jesus. Each year another piece is added so that by the time a student reaches 7th grade, the set is complete. 

CKS 1st graders learn about the saints and then bring them to life when they dress up and process into school mass to introduce themselves. 

Get ready for some colorful competition! 8th graders are split into four groups to participate in a day of fun challenges that test their teamwork, athletic skills, and creativity!
