CKS COMMUNITY

Our Parent Community

School Advisory Board

Members of the School Advisory Board (SAB) serve the Pastor and Principal in an advisory capacity for a three-year term. They may also serve as a liaison between the parent body and the administration. School Advisory Board members are chosen by the Principal in collaboration with the Pastor.

Parent Teacher Club

The CKS Parent Teacher Club (PTC) actively supports the school through volunteer service and fundraising. Parental involvement is a hallmark of the CKS community. Parent volunteers assist in several fundraising and fellowship events, as well as supporting classroom teacher requests.

Dads Club

The CKS Dads Club is a fraternal and spiritual outreach for fathers of Christ the King Catholic School students – to build community, offer support, and encourage fathers to involve themselves in their children's academic, spiritual and social lives. The Dads Club is also an opportunity for all CKS dads to be involved in their child's school experience and get to know other fathers in the school. All CKS Dads are welcome.

Parent involvement, through volunteering and active engagement, plays a pivotal role in creating a vibrant educational community where students flourish academically and socially. CKS parents volunteer in the classroom and for school events, participate in family service opportunities, and serve as leaders on various parent-led groups.
