Coffee and dark chocolate, all veggies (except mushrooms!) and anything spicy!

What is one interesting fact about you?

I’ve taken flying lessons and have several hours as a student pilot.

Rock climbing in the New River Gorge or hiking in the Grand Tetons all day, then returning to a comfy room and a gourmet meal!

With God’s grace, raising our daughter, Darby.

When you were in Kindergarten, what did you want to be when you grew up?

An astronaut

Who is your favorite superhero?

I’ve always loved Wonder Woman, because she always helped without ever needing recognition or accolades. She simply used her gifts and talents for the greater good.

What adjective best describes you?

What is your favorite classroom activity/project? Why?

Seriously? How can I pick ONE? I love when students are working and I float checking for understanding and help the ones who have a misunderstanding or need help. I think my favorite activity so far this year in my classroom was the Escape Room.

What is one thing you want your students to take away from this school year?

I want my students to know they are perfectly made for God’s purpose.

Why do you teach?

I teach because I love to see people discover they can do things they never knew they could do.

Why do you love CKS?

I love CKS because the students, parents, faculty and staff have a joyful love of our Catholic faith; my faith is fueled daily.
