What do you teach at CKS?

6th grade Religion and Social Studies

What is the most valuable lesson you've learned while teaching?

Every single child is different and special in their own way. Seeing a child succeed at something they previously struggled with is the most rewarding experience.

What is your favorite food?

What are your hidden talents?

Photography and scrapbooking

What is one interesting fact about you?

I got married at Disney World and had a photo shoot in the Magic Kingdom before it opened.

What do you consider your greatest accomplishment?

Getting my degree in something I’m truly passionate in and care for so much.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

Binge watching tv shows. I also love to travel and go to theme parks.

When you were in Kindergarten, what did you want to be when you grew up?

A teacher.... I think. I’m honestly not sure if I wanted to be anything other than a Disney princess, but I always loved playing school and being the teacher.

What adjective best describes you?

What is one thing you want your students to take away from this school year?

That it is ok to make mistakes because they help us grow.

Why do you teach?

To inspire students to find as much joy in learning as I do. I want students to find school fun and to show them how fun it can be while accomplishing all they need to understand.

Why do you love CKS?

I am brand new, and I just keep telling everyone how welcoming every single staff and faculty member truly is! I have known Fr. Len my whole life, and he knew I would love the school. He was correct. From how much fun the administration is to how kind and generous all the teachers and assistants have been, I can’t express how honored and blessed I feel to be a part of such a warm and welcoming community and family!
